RK Allen Oil Company, Inc. has proudly served our region for over five decades. Our story began in 1965 in Talladega, Alabama, when Ken Allen, Sr. founded the company as a Texaco-branded jobber and operated as its sole employee. From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into one of the area’s most trusted names in fuel and lubricant distribution.

RK Allen has become a leader in petroleum supply for industries across the Southeast. We’re proud to offer a full line of petroleum products, including fuels, lubricants, greases, and specialty fluids to meet the demands of diverse sectors—from automotive to agriculture, industrial, and more.

1970s – 1980s

Our early operations focused on service stations, farm fuel deliveries, and packaged lubricants.

1980s

We launched AOC Food Marts, Inc., expanding into retail with locations in Alabama and Florida. Our wholesale division also evolved, adding bulk oil services and hiring our first dedicated salesperson.

1990s

We diversified further with the addition of Xpress Lubes and Burger King franchises, continuing our commitment to serve communities in new ways

2000s

Our wholesale operations advanced with the introduction of lubricant filtration and dehydration services—delivering cleaner, more efficient products to our customers.
